At my age, falling down never ends well. When I slipped last year, I completely shattered one of the bones in my leg. I had to wear a brace that kept my knee immobile, and I was in a tremendous amount of pain. My mobility was so poor, I didn’t even try walking.

But once I came to Washington Center for rehab, I got a fresh start. I was very pleased with the care and treatment I received. The rehab staff were so kind and everyone treated me well.

Now, after a little more than 3 months at Washington Center, I’m much stronger. I am so grateful to everyone at the facility — they reminded me that even at my age, falling down doesn’t have to be the end.
