The ones who care beyond compare.

Spanning multiple cultures, generations, educational backgrounds and areas of medical expertise, our multilingual team delivers care that’s as human as care gets.

Brooke Daley LNHA

Administrator

Brooke is a fierce advocate for her residents, first, last and always, and that’s what makes her one of the finest administrators in the Centers Health Care family. A talented Administrator who exemplifies the mission of Washington Center, Brooke leads her team by example, building relationships with residents and family members alike, recognizing and appreciating what makes each person unique. She personally sees that everyone entering the doors of Washington Center enjoys professional and comprehensive treatment in a warm, nurturing environment. And like most great leaders, she’s an accomplished “juggler,” effortlessly shifting gears as she moves from our short-term physical therapy unit to our long-term care residential areas, our adult home and our adult day health care unit. Brooke’s leadership, guidance, and commitment to assembling an exceptional management team has transformed Washington Center into a very special place.

Christopher Besson OT

Director of Therapy

It’s easy to tell what makes Chris such a great leader in the Rehab suite. It’s everything about him. His enthusiasm, energy, and positive attitude; his playfulness, dedication, and most of all his expertise. And it all comes together to make to make one terrific leader. “I love helping people reach their physical best and always have. Maybe it’s my love of sports and everything about the outdoors. I guess I just want everyone to be able to enjoy these things as much as I do.” Originally from Ticonderoga, Chris lives in Hudson New York with “the two most spoiled dogs in the Adirondacks.” So we can add animal lover to his list of great traits. When you visit us, stop by the therapy suite and say hello. Chris loves to make people laugh, and sometimes it sounds like there is so much fun going on in there that it can make you wonder how much therapy is occurring. That is, of course, until you see the outstanding results that Chris and his team are responsible for.

Knowledge is health.

For the absolute highest quality of care, Washington Center staffs medical providers on each unit who stay in constant communication with leadership throughout the day. Team collaboration is our forte, and this commitment helps us maintain an unbeatable continuum of care.

Our team also works hard to keep therapies as consistent as possible, tracking all communications through an advanced electronic medical record system. This ensures immediate transmission of information across the entire care network.

Coronavirus Update

We are aware of the Governor’s new guidance regarding nursing home visitors. We are as excited as you are to welcome you all back to our facility but need to ensure that we do so safely and in keeping with the guidelines outlined in the Governor’s letter.

It is important to note that per the Governor’s guidelines we will not be permitted to open up to visitors until 5 days from the date of this notice at the earliest. In addition to this timing requirement, the Department of Health must also first approve our individualized reopening plan before allowing visitors.

We will be updating the website with more information as it becomes available. Please click here for the complete New York Sate guidelines.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
